Big Batch Week…celebration and photos!

I’ve been up to something.

Actually, I’ve been up to a LOT of something!

Spero House has been busy busy busy this week. On Monday night, my great big (biggest ever, as in…I invested everything I had!) supplies shipment arrived. The next morning, I scrubbed down the kitchen, lined everything with waxed paper, strapped baby to my back, donned my gloves, and set to work. It was fabulous. It was hard work! The past three nights have seen me at the oils and butters past midnight. Each product has been carefully weighed and measured for exactness, research confirmed, packaging sanitized, busy-boy hands kept…busy(!), labels printed, products tested, soap poured (and repoured…and reconfigured…and…), and finally…done! Spero’s biggest batch and most significant new product line is now complete! Horray!

Now, I have LOADS of inf o and background and instructions and ingredient lists to post and update but that’s gonna have to wait until later this weekend. For the moment, I’m shifting into ‘Friday Night Mode’. In my world, that means a spa bath, ultra comfrotable clothes (and not many of them!), a decent glass of wine, and a date night in with Mister Spero (ie. the love of my life who lets me take over our home during these batch sessions and patiently smells each new oil and product!)
